Leon Gallery is proud to welcome back Diego Rodriguez-Warner for his 3rd exhibition. Horror Vacui features 50 new works created by Diego over the last year, including paintings and drawings on paper, wood panel, and drywall, as well as a deep insight into the artists’ practice. The Opening Reception will require guests to sign up for a 20-minute visit between 5pm – 10pm on Saturday, November 14th. In accordance with Colorado State guidelines, we are only allowed to invite 10 people into the gallery at a time. 


Artist Bio:

Diego Rodriguez-Warner was born in Managua, Nicaragua, in 1986. In 2008, he studied under the Cuban Minister of Fine Arts, Lesbia Vent Dumois, in Havana, and he received his BA in COIN Theory and Fine Arts From Hampshire College in 2009. In 2013, he earned an MFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design, where he was awarded the Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship. In 2020 Diego was named the recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters & Sculptors Grant. He has exhibited in Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Miami, and Havana. The artist lives and works in Denver.
