DENVER SMALL PRESS FEST – 2024

Date: March 30, 2024

Time: 11am - 4pm

Location: Globeville Rec Center

Denver Small Press Fest, a free celebration of indie print, is coming to the Globeville Center, 4496 Grant St, Denver, CO 80216, Saturday March 30th from 11am-4pm. Over 70 vendors will be hawking  zines, comics, prints, books, and other creative projects in the mural-filled home of Birdseed Collective in Globeville.

In addition to perusing prints, guests can sip on a coffee from Mutiny Information Cafe, watch print demos by Letterpress Depot, and bask in the sounds of DJ Ethan Bradford Barrett while they make their own zine.

There’s good reason to come early: the first 50 people through the door get a free, limited edition tote bag by A Small Print Shop–a DSPF tradition. Liquid Death will be on hand (for free!) to ensure hydration while the festival offerings are enjoyed. Fort Greene will open up across the street as the festival closes with Ratio Beerworks specials on offer.

This is the third iteration of Denver Small Press Fest, which began in 2015 and was named Westword’s Best New Festival. This year’s event was organized by a team of volunteers from is PRESS, Leon Gallery, Curtis Made This, and various DIY operations. The purpose of the festival is to create a unique and energetic space where print artists can make money. Table costs are low and admission is free, which creates accessible opportunities for emerging artists and supports Denver’s thriving arts scene.
